The complete 2003 Lincon Theater Reunion Show has been restored to full size DVD quality with completely remastered audio. Audio was likewise good, relatively speaking. Great for nostalgic reasons if nothing more. The quality of the tape, while not as good as when new and certainly not as good as the long lost original tape, was still quite salvageable.
Regardless of the meaning or non-meaning, the lines can quickly get stuck in the listener’s head and give them a perk to their day.On July 30 th, 2016, a copy of the " Long Lost VHS tape of Cirkus at the Casablanca" was rediscovered.
The line “lock me up, lock me down, lock me in, lock me out, lock me sideways” maybe goes with the more illusive definition behind the song. And hey, who knows, maybe the lyrics really don’t have a specific meaning to them, and Circus Mircus just wanted to make something really, really fun (which they’ve most certainly completed with ease). There’s plenty of pep-talk style lyrics throughout to get you going on a Monday morning. The spacecraft mentioned throughout the bridge could be the metaphorical goal, and that’s why they’re asking to be taken there, with the aim of reaching the sky and beyond. Lines like “step it up now, get it done now”, “shoot it to the stars, to the top now” and “make it, do it, break it” indicate they will keep pushing for their personal wins until they get there, even if they “break” something along the way. However, when looking at the lyrics, it’s hard not to notice a theme of reaching for your ambitions. The joy of the song is the complete randomness of it all.
